A Year of Practical Learning Starts on the Train & Inspire Blog

Learning a new tool is easier when you can see what it does, try it yourself and check your result. That is the idea behind the new Train & Inspire blog. Starting Monday, October 12, I plan to publish a practical post each week for the next year.

I’m Rudy Stebih. I create training for people who want to get more from the technology they already use, or make a more informed choice about what to learn next. This blog will give you a place to work through a question at your own pace, with clear examples and useful checks along the way.

What you can expect

Some posts will walk through a task. Others will help you diagnose a problem, compare approaches or decide which question to ask before buying a device or taking a course. When a topic changes with a software update, I’ll identify the version or date that matters. Where I use an example rather than a tested result, I’ll say so.

The goal is a useful answer you can act on. A social post might introduce a question; the blog will go deeper with the steps, reasoning and verification that would not fit in a short caption or video.

A preview of the year ahead

For work and everyday productivity, look for guides on Microsoft 365, Copilot and Word. I want to show how to turn a promising result into a dependable workflow, including what to review before relying on an AI-generated answer.

For home and building technology, expect explainers on automation and control. Topics may include how a Node-RED flow is organized, how to document an existing system and how to approach a troubleshooting decision without guessing at the cause.

For fitness technology, I’ll explore the practical side of collecting and interpreting device data, including Polar tools. For creators, I’ll cover planning a shoot, choosing useful settings and checking the result, with examples that can include the Zhiyun Smooth 5S AI.

These are preview areas, not a fixed list of 52 product reviews. The detailed topics will be selected against reader questions, current documentation and what I can demonstrate accurately. I’ll also make room for other relevant learning tools and course subjects as the year develops.

How to use the blog

Start with the question you need answered. Follow the steps, then use the suggested check to decide whether the result worked in your own setting. If an article connects to a Train & Inspire course, I’ll link to the relevant course page so you can decide whether you want the fuller training.

The first weekly guide is planned for October 12. Until then, you can explore the current course catalogue at https://www.traininspire.com/courses/ and come back for the first article. I’m looking forward to building a library of explanations that you can return to when you need them.
