This course is built for one purpose: to help you use Microsoft Copilot confidently, practically and safely—whether you are completely new to AI or already using Copilot at work. You will not spend the opening hour buried in theory. In this first section, you will create two useful results, check them carefully, choose the path that fits you, and prepare a clean course workspace.

The course title is a durable course name. Microsoft changes product names, plans, buttons and availability. That means your screen may not always match mine exactly. I will label the account, entitlement, platform and verification date for each demonstration. When a feature depends on a work licence, an administrator setting or a staged rollout, I will say so. You will always receive a safe personal or simulated alternative.

Use only information you are allowed to use. For this course, use the supplied fictional Fablebrook Solutions files or your own non-sensitive information. Never paste passwords, private client information, regulated records or confidential workplace material into a practice prompt.
